3-POINT LINKAGE HITCH

• Category 1 & 2 linkage headstock
• 2 Position headstock with Centre or Offset headstock positions (180,200,225 & 250 models)
• 2 lower link pin positions to accommodate various tractor sizes.
• Slotted top link clevis for floating operation

TRANSMISSION

• 540 PTO rpm gearbox input
• Free wheel in gearbox so that on disengaging the PTO, the mulching rotor winds down without driving through the gear box and PTO drive shaft
• The Rotor is driven by 4 belts (5 belts from 285 cm width model)

ROTOR

• Heavy duty 194mm diameter rotor for strength
• Rotor spins on a self-aligning bearings which have a radial load carrying capacity that is ideal for the forces created by drive belts and the cutting operation
• The bearing is mounted within the rotor with a labyrinth protection against the entry of debris

MULCHING CHAMBER

• Fitted with Y blades with straight centre blade as standard
• Blades operate at 1822 rpm for a high 59 m/s tip speed for a fast clean cut. That is a tip speed of over 210 km/h
• The use of genuine Celli blades and bolts are essential for safety, performance and protection of the mulcher

• Front and upper counter blades in the chamber for a finer mulch
• Counter blades provide resistance to the mulched material giving the blades more opportunities to reduce the material for a finer mulch

• Twin plate construction produces box-sections in the body for superb body stiffness and strength
• The double skin also provides an inner skin to take the hard impacts reducing outer skin dents. Outer skin indents break the paint and initiate rust causing premature body deterioration
• The weight of the SCORPIO models is testament to their strong construction and stiffness

ROLLER

• A large 219mm diameter rear roller with scraper provides mulcher height control
• The Roller's bearings are protected against grit and debris by a double-Z labyrinth for longer bearing life
• Bearings for rear rollers need good protection for long life. The bearings are mounted on the inside of the skids to also reduce damage from collisions
